Remembering that 1 star indicates "basic golf facilities" and 5 stars indicate "golf at its absolute best", Snowtown barely offers basic golf facilities.
There are 18 black soil scrapes with mostly straight holes. Flat and boring with a few holes around 2 mostly dry salt lakes.
Snowtown is a small town of around 400 people at approximtaely 100m above sea level just east of the Barunga Range about 48km north of Port Wakefield. The Barunga Range is a part of the northern Mount Lofty Ranges and is mostly treeless with rounded terrain.
Course access is from taking High Street (about 1km in total east of the town centre) which changes name to Glen Davidson Drive.
Closest grass green courses are Clare (45km east) and Balaklava (55km south) both less than 30 minutes from Snowtown.

Not a bad track. Some interesting and challenging holes. Needs a good rainfall year otherwise a bit rough and for some reason it is always windy when I play there.

Absolutely the best country course I have played. A great variety of holes. Not to long, but by all means not easy, with a bit of a lake and swamp, and some trees. This is a great layed out course, scrapes are great, its a must play.
