It is what it is, and that's no bad thing.
Rocked up on a idyllic Saturday morning with my partner, a beginner in every sense of the word. $15 each for nine, which is potentially a touch steep but not enough to break the bank.
Basically had the course to ourselves. Views over the CBD made the first a nice lil start and the rest of the course didn't disappoint for what we were after. My partner hit a few different shots from different spots, wasn't flustered by groups waiting behind and had an absolute ball.
And afterwards, you can settle in with a coffee/feed and watch others take on the first hole, or simply relax in the sun on the deck and enjoy the world going by.
Greens aren't great at all but that's to be expected from such a course.
Absolutely perfect for a youngster, beginner or someone wanting to hone their wedge/short game who is sick of the range and hitting off astro turf to do so.

Played her Sunday with my 6 year old It was in very good condition. Fairways and first cut rough I'd rate equal to a country course. Greens were also good. Think previous ratings during the drought. All tees have option to hit off a pad and rubber tee. Holes 100 - 140 mt. No sand or water but great for a hit and especially good for kids. There was a family of 3 kids under 10 in front of us and other groups appeared to be kids who don't play a lot having a hit with their dad. The cafe looked great and has a deck to hang out on. Good spot for a short easy round and a hit with someone who is introduced to the game

You get what you pay for here.
$10 for 9 holes (all par 3's) to work on your short game. Course is in poor condition but if you're desperate for a cheap quickie then this is the course for you.

russssssssssssssssss
This course is rubbish. No water and the greens consist of long furry grass. That said if you want to practice your short game then it still has something to offer. My advice would be to leave your putter in the car, then grab a couple of wedges and an 8 iron, these clubs will be all you need. It really is a practice facility.

studley park is a course for begginers looking for a course where pars are very possible. The course is at best below par (pun) with the fairways often worse than the roughs of other public golf courses but the lack of people and not having to obide by strict rules is an attraction to golfers like me. This course is for those golfers that are looking for an escape from the strict rules and crowds of a good course while getting a score that looks good on paper, but be warned the course not one to be admired. (but the resaurant is great with meal and golf offers.)
